Nithya Narayanaswamy

Nithya is a third year student from Guam and India, majoring in Biology and Philosophy. Nithya is also the co-founder and Executive Director of Plastic Free Emory, and is passionate about plastics advocacy, environmental justice, and working to phase out unnecessary single use plastic on campus. She is an Oxford Alum, and at Emory, is also involved in the Emory Writing Center. At the Saikawa lab, Nithya is helping understand the effects of air pollution on Indian and Chinese immigrants in metropolitan Atlanta.
