Jack Miklaucic

Jack Miklaucic is a junior from Charlotte, North Carolina studying Environmental Sciences and Philosophy, Politics, and Law. At Emory, he sings in the University Chorus, works for the Writing Center, and gives tours to prospective families. He is also a leader within the Young Democrats of Emory, the Emory Climate Analysis and Solutions Team, and the Emory Climate Organization. He is passionate about climate change and environmental justice issues and hopes to pursue a career in environmental policy or law. In the Saikawa lab, he is working on a project analyzing the ability of different types of cover crops to reduce agricultural ammonia emissions. He is also developing and starting an honors thesis about the inclusion of nitrogen into economic pollution reduction strategies.
